4th of July Baking

Grandma Gloria, Papa Mike & Kolby came to visit us this weekend. Papa came to help Dad put the new windows in our house, so we did lots of fun stuff inside with Grandma. Kolby got to play with the girls a little and help Kyle & Papa some as well too!
I found a fun recipe for a 4th of July cake online, so we decided to make it. We had to make a white cake mix and then split the batter into 3 parts to make white, red, and blue batter. This is Addi mixing the red cake mix.
After we poured the batter into the bundt cake mold, Eastin and Addi decided to lick the bowls. YUM YUM!
Addi was licking the red bowl! :)
After the cake was cool, we drizzled white, blue, and red frosting on it. Papa Mike thought the cake looked like a huge donut.
Here is a picture of the cake with all the frosting and sprinkles on it. The girls thought it was pretty neat! They also couldn't keep their little fingers out of it! :)
Here is a picture of the inside! Happy 4th of July!
