Muir Woods

I hope you are ready to see tons of pictures.  :)  We just got back from our 6 day Vacation to Sunny California and we took about 500 pictures.  Kyle planned the entire vacation and it was awesome!  Every aspect of it was great.  He picked some great places to visit and it was just enough to fill our crazy fun vacation!  I will try to post pictures from each spot on separate days because I don't want to overload you with a million pictures!  

Today: Muir Woods

Probably one of my favorite things we did.  This is located in Marin County which is north of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge.  Breathtaking.  Absolutely breathtaking.  Words really can't describe the beauty of this place.  It was a gorgeous day while we were there, so that made the trip even more wonderful!

Kyle had us take this picture so you could get a scale of how big the trunks of these trees were and this wasn't even one of the biggest ones! 

This was the girls favorite thing to do.  They loved using the roots of the trees to climb up and around them.  The girls told us later that their favorite thing about the park was, "climbing up the stairs to get around the trees."
