So it is already known that Eastin marches to the beat of her own drum....but seriously. She put a bike helmet on then proceeded to push the play car, not onto the driveway, but up the grass hill. She then tried to climb into it through the "window" on the side that didn't have a door. So glad she was smart enough to put on that bike helmet! It didn't go so well for her. The car ended up on top of the little rugrat. Oh Eastin!
After the car escapade we decided to plant the flower Eastin gave me for Mother's Day. Her teachers gave a flower to every Mom in their preschool class. So sweet. We bought some other flowers so it wasn't the lone ranger in the large pot. :)
Addi was busy drawing with chalk while we were planting flowers. She is becoming quite the artist. This is her next to her drawing of a baby and a balloon. :) She was pretty proud of it and we thought it was nothing short of a Monet.
I'm just throwing this out there.....I LOVE THESE LITTLE MUNCKINS more than life itself. It's amazing that God has equipped us with this heart that learns to love at such a young age, but cannot even fathom the capacity for love until you have little, amazing, precious, ornery, special children. These two are amazing....truly amazing and they teach me more about life, love, joy, forgiveness, peace, and hope every day.
Thank you God for the beautiful gift of motherhood. It is the greatest joy ever!
.....oh Eastin. :)
