Monterey Bay Aquarium

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Awesome.  We've only been two aquariums and both of them were awesome.  The Monterey Bay Aquarium was definitely worth going to.  They have some amazing exhibits, especially the jellyfish exhibit.  Here are some pictures of our favorite things.
The girls outside the aquarium with their stuffed animals.  Addi picked a seahorse and Eastin picked a sting ray.

The girls loved the touch pools but Eastin was the only one interested in touching any of the animals in the touch pools.  Addi didn't mind touching the kelp or seaweed, but if it was alive....she wasn't interested.
This was a picture of one of the awesome viewing windows in the jellyfish exhibit.  They were breathtaking.  Very cool creatures.
The girls next to the seahorse statue in the seahorse exhibit.
They had a play area that the girls enjoyed as well.  They had costumes of sea creatures that the girls really enjoyed putting on.
The girls dressed up in the Octopus play outfits.
One of the sea turtles.  I love turtles.
Eastin laying in a giant clam shell.  :)  Addi wasn't too sure of this.  She thought it might close up on her so she wouldn't get in it.
In the jellyfish experience exhibit they showed how jellyfish are symmetrical.  There was a camera that made your face symmetrical on the jellyfish body.  Pretty funny.
The girls relaxing by the jellyfish.
How amazing is this little guy?  Unlike anything I've ever seen.
