We got this great gift from the Lovell's called, "The Elf on the Shelf." The girls love it. They named our elf, Duckie. Not quite sure where that came from but I love that there is probably not another elf named Duckie anywhere else! The first morning that Duckie came to our house he was holding onto a package of powdered sugar donuts that he brought the girls. They were ecstatic. You can see that they enjoyed them very much. Duckie leaves every night to report to Santa and then comes back the next morning and hides in a new spot. So far he has hidden on top of the star on the tree, in a stocking, on the girls backpack hook, and today he was way up high on the moulding in our kitchen. Sneaky little guy!
The girls love their donuts!
